Once again, we would like to thank the 'Tartan Army Children's Charity' for their kind offer of support. Our group were delighted to receive their free official Scotland tops. We headed off to the game buzzing to see our first Scotland match.

After getting some grub we took our seats and watched the teams walk out onto the pitch. You can't beat football played under the floodlights!

What a night! Scotland won 1-0. We scored following a defensive mix up that allowed Bournemouth player, Matt Ritchie, to sneak in and bury his chance. Superb! Nights like these don't come around very often!

Youthbank Grant Application Date

'NorthWest YouthBank' have set a date for their next round of grant giving. This will take place on Thursday 17th March. This means that the deadline for applications will be set to 12 noon on Wednesday 16th March!

Tartan Army Children's Charity - DRC

SCOTLAND VS DENMARK

We are delighted to announce that the 'Tartan Army Children's Charity' will provide free tickets for 'Scotland VS Denmark' on Tuesday, 29th March for 8 young people (aged 15 and under) and 2 members of staff. As well as a free ticket, those chosen to go attend the game will receive an official Scotland top and a free flag. The DRC are delighted with the offer of support from the Tartan Army and cannot wait until our group are supporting Scotland under the floodlights of Hampden. 

Smoothies!!!

Last night was time for some fresh and healthy smoothies. We used strawberries, bananas, raspberries, blueberries, kiwi fruit, pineapple, mango, natural yoghurt and vanilla ice-cream to make the best smoothies in Glasgow. We couldn't get enough of them!

DRC Scotstoun Club (12 - 25 years)

Our highly popular youth club in Scotstoun runs on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings between 5-8pm in the 'Heart of Scotstoun' community centre. 

We have internet access, computers, DJ equipment, a pool table, an Xbox One, PS4 and numerous games and activities on a regular basis.

 Our weekly FIFA tournament can be competitive but a lot of fun!

Gamblers Anonymous Scotland

Two representatives from 'Gamblers Anonymous Scotland' visited our 'personal development and employability' group today to speak about the issues they have encountered through gambling. The discussion that developed throughout the session was thought provoking and gave a real insight into the impact gambling can have on an individual's life and the damage it can do to their relationships with friends and family. We really appreciated Charles and Steven taking the time to speak to members of the DRC.
